Falkeris Inquiry Desk — Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about reaching the desk

Short answers to the questions the desk hears most: reply times, required fields, phone availability, what to do when a form submission fails, and how to follow up. If your question is not covered, the contact page has the form and the phone number.

Desk line: +1 312-508-3887 — answered Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Voicemail outside those hours is returned on the next business day.

When will I get a reply?

Written inquiries typically receive a reply within one business day. If your question needs input from a second team member, expect up to two business days, with a short holding note in between so you know it is still being handled.

Phone messages left outside business hours are returned on the next business day. If your message lands on a U.S. federal holiday, the callback moves to the next working day after that. If you submitted a form and want to add context later, reply to your confirmation email instead of starting a new thread — that keeps the whole history in one place.

Written inquiries

Usually within one business day

Applies to messages sent through the contact form and to the footer email address.

Needs a second desk

Up to two business days

Which form fields are required?

Name, email address, and your message. The phone number field is optional and is used only if you ask for a call back — that is the only reason the desk would dial it, so leave it blank if you would rather keep the conversation in writing.

Every field has a visible label, and required ones are marked, so nothing is a surprise at submit time. The message box accepts any length you need; longer questions are fine and do not slow down the reply window.

Business hours

Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Closed on U.S. federal holidays.

Outside those hours

Voicemail takes your name, number, and a summary, and the desk calls back on the next business day.

What does an error message mean?

It names the field with the problem and what to change, such as "Enter your email address." The message is announced by screen readers as well as shown on screen, so it is not easy to miss.

Fix the flagged field and resubmit; the rest of your text is kept, so you do not have to retype your message.

Common field messages

Enter your email address.
The email field is empty, or the address is missing the part after the @ symbol. Check for stray spaces and try again.
Tell us what you need.
The message box has not been filled in. Even one sentence about your question is enough to route it correctly.
Add your name so we know who we are replying to.
The name field is blank. A first name alone is fine if that is how you would like to be addressed.

How do I know the form went through?

You land on a success screen that repeats your email address and states the reply window, and a confirmation email arrives within about fifteen minutes. That confirmation is your receipt — keep it, because it also carries the thread you will reply to later.

If you did not see the success screen, nothing was sent, and you can safely submit again. Duplicate submissions are not a problem on this end; an empty screen simply means the message never left your browser.

What if a submission fails entirely?

Rule out a red error message first. If there is none and the page will not send, try another browser or turn off script blockers for this page — privacy extensions are the most common cause of a form that quietly refuses to submit.

As a fallback, call the desk during business hours, or email the address in the footer. Both routes reach the same inbox, and neither requires you to re-enter anything you have already written.

How do I follow up on an inquiry?

Reply to your confirmation email with "follow-up" in the subject and the date of your original message. That keeps the history in one thread, so whoever picks it up can see the first question without asking you to repeat it.

If two business days pass and the matter is urgent, call during business hours and mention the submission date. A date is the fastest way for the desk to find your original message, and it saves a round trip. If your question is not urgent, adding a line to the same thread is almost always quicker than starting over.

Do you keep my message private?

The details of what is collected, why, and how long it is kept are set out in the Privacy Policy. In short, your inquiry is used to answer your question and is not used for marketing.

Your email address is the only field the desk writes back to unless you asked for a call. If you would like your message deleted after the question is resolved, say so in your follow-up reply and it will be handled from there.

Still stuck? Start with the phone number

If none of the answers above fit your situation, the fastest route is the desk line: a person answers during business hours and can usually tell you what is going on without waiting on a written reply.
