Any response time described on this site is a working target based on business hours, not a guarantee. Messages that arrive overnight, at the weekend, or on a holiday are counted from the next working morning.
When the desk may decline
The desk may decline to answer inquiries that are abusive, unlawful, or unrelated to the site's purpose. In that case you will usually get a short note saying the message is outside what this desk handles.
Keep the exchange on topic
Send personal details only where they help answer your question. If a conversation drifts away from the site's purpose, the desk may close it and point you to a more suitable route.
Accuracy and availability
